Miroma continues to provide a range of programs through our services in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs that assist people with disabilities fulfil their potential. We do this through programs and activities that support people to express themselves artistically, participate socially in their local community, and to have access to vocational opportunities including training and supported employment.
Miroma Horizons Program 2008
Recently, the ‘Horizons Program’ has been introduced where a group of clients and staff travel out of Sydney and explore a ‘rural experience.’ The aim of the ‘Horizons Program’ is to build on community based interests and activities that enable people with disabilities to increase their freedom and independence.
To provide this support we need suitable transport that is accessible for all clients. We aim to raise funds to purchase a new Toyota Commuter bus with a wheelchair hoist. Your generous donation is a critical part of raising these funds.
